Free guided tours of the Texas Governor’s Mansion are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to Noon beginning on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Tours will last 20 minutes and are subject to availability. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance and no walk up tours are available. To schedule a tour, visitors can call Mansion Reservationist at 512.305.8524 or send email to Mansion.Tours@tspb.state.tx.us.

After completing a thorough and sensitive restoration of the home in the summer of 2012, the State Preservation Board is responsible for the ongoing preservation and maintenance of the Governor’s Mansion. Texas’ First Family is once again in residence at the Mansion, continuing the 156-year tradition of the Mansion as the oldest continuously-occupied executive residence west of the Mississippi.
