Free guided tours of the Texas Governor's Mansion are available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays beginning at 2:00 pm and concluding by 4:00 pm. Tours last 30 minutes and are subject to availability.
The Mansion will be closed on November 11th in observance of Veterans Day as well as the week of Thanksgiving (Nov 22nd - Nov 28th).
Come join us for Christmas at the Mansion. Special holiday tours will be available selected days in December. Tours will begin at 2:00 pm and conclude by 4:00 pm. The dates in December are:

After completing a thorough and sensitive restoration of the home in the summer of 2012, the State Preservation Board is responsible for the ongoing preservation and maintenance of the Governor’s Mansion. Texas’ First Family is once again in residence at the Mansion, continuing the 156-year tradition of the Mansion as the oldest continuously-occupied executive residence west of the Mississippi.
